    Hi,

A simple rule of thumb is to allocate the majority of the resources to the data nodes, and the number of data nodes must have always come in pairs (2, 4, 6, 8 data nodes). In a fraction of 10, I can give a simple estimation to allocate 5/10 hardware resources to data nodes, 3/10 to MySQL nodes and 2/10 to management nodes.

The best practice for resource dimensioning commonly requires us to understand your application requirements, budget, anticipated workloads, capacity planning, assessment, etc. We do offer consulting jobs and if you are interested, feel free to reach out to our sales team at sales[at]severalnines.com.

    Regards,
    Ashraf

Thank you for the complete answer

now i installed ndb and every thing is working good

is there a best practice to cpu/ram/hard assignment to nodes?

i think mysql nodes need more ram/cpu but data nodes need more hard disk space

do you have any advice to how to divid the resources?
