struggling with installation
Im trying to build a cluster. I have 3 mariadb servers, taht I usually manualy update. I built out a new Controller VM, added cluster control, but now struggling to get 3 database servers into a cluster. No matter which of the 3 options add exsisting create ne or add single, It always fails with the same error "there is already a mysql server running, it must be uninstalled first, or you can add it to clustercontrol. Its the second bit Im trying to do, but cant see how I can achieve this. I dont want to have to delete exsisting databases.
can anyone point me in correct direction?
Thanks

Hi Derek,
The error "there is already a mysql server running" is sent when deploying a new cluster or single node.
To add existing running mysql servers or cluster you have to use the "add existing server/cluster" functionality. You can find the process described in our documentation.
Best regards,
Art
