ClusterControl
Hi,
I have 2 questions about ClusterControl.
1) What happens if clustercontrol has gone offline? Does affect MySQL cluster operations?
2) How can I migrate existing ClusterControl host to new server without affecting MySQL cluster ? I wish to move ClusterControl from our premises to cloud.
Thanks.

Hi,
1) ClusterControl does not bring any harm to the monitored database cluster if it is down. However, you will lost the ability to auto recover a failed node/cluster since it supports node/cluster auto recovery.
2) Moving you ClusterControl to cloud might require you to change the ClusterControl node's hostname, IP address, etc and this would mess up the user grant and ClusterControl REST API. The simplest way to migrate your ClusterControl is to prepare a new host in the cloud and run the bootstrap script from that host as explained in this documentation:
http://www.severalnines.com/docs/clustercontrol-quick-start-guide/existing-cluster/bootstrap-script

Ashraf
