Stuck in "Generating scripts. Please wait..."
We installed one cluster via the web configurator but when we try to add another one the configurator gets stuck in the generating scripts stage.
Tried looking everywhere at logs but no joy... Anyone has any pointers?
All systems are CentOS 6.4, selinux is disabled, we're using a non-root user and ssh keys are setup fine.

Hi,
Can you submit a screenshot what it looks like?
I can't reproduce it using http://www.severalnines.com/mongodb-configurator, but i assume you use the built in configurator?

Online configurator worked fine, I deployed a cluster, and then from that UI I wanted to use the config to deploy another.
I can take a screenshot if you really want, but it's just the dialog box with the progress bar filling up and resetting endlessly.
I can see from the logs that it's doing a sudo ls somewhere, so it expects a file to be prepared by something, but no evidence of something being called to prepare this.
It's a shame as we did the same thing (deploy from online config, use the ui to deploy more) on a quick trial a month or so ago and were really looking forward in doing a demo of this as a potential solution for our company.

Hi
It was removed for now since it wasn't working reliable enough and confusing to setup for some users, even among our team members.
We're working on changing the deployment function to make it more simple and easier to use which hopefully will end up in a future release.
If you want you can re-enable the "classic" configurators by adding this line to the <www root>/clustercontrol/bootstrap.php file.
define('ENABLE_CLASSIC_CONFIGURATOR', '1');
Note however that the "classic" configurators have not been tested for v1.2.6 and there will not be any support or fixes for them if you run into any issues.
Best Regards,
Alex
