Scheduled jobs interrupt connectivity
Curious coincidence, or is it?
I am using a dual Master/Master setup to basically mirror a game server database between two servers (one EU and one NA) and it all works just as said on the tin.
However I have noticed that we experience regular drops in network traffic (as in all traffic dies) when the cron runs for the CMON jobs.
For me this is just before the hour, and just before the 30 mins past the hour when the cluster is restarted.
So my questions are:
Any ideas why this would occur?
How can I change the schedule, what are the pros and cons of having this scheduled much less frequently (my databases have frequent updates but very small data exchanges.

Hi Roger,
That is a very interesting experience. Could you send the /var/log/cmon.log from the cmon controller? I think it is best you send it as a support ticket here:

It would also be great if you can go into "Logs" --> Jobs and take a screenshot when this happens, so i can see what job it is. Then we can help you further.
However, we are working on the scheduling of this, and in the next release it will be possible to set timers when logs, schema info and other meta info should be collected.
Best regards
Johan
