Managing Multiple Clusters - Dev/Testing
Hello there,
I'm trying to manage multiple environments for development/testing etc. from one centralized monitoring cluster control server and I'm trying to determine how this is deployed. I read the forum at http://support.severalnines.com/entries/21419671-Multiple-monitoring-environments-, however, it seems to be dated some time back.
Therefore, I wanted to ask if you had an updated document or if you could provide instructions on how to do this? I see the new cluster registration in which I can plugin the cluster token and URL, however, I'm unsure about running the deploy.sh script as when I generate the script it ask for cluster control IP. Therefore, I feel is I run the script on my existing cluster control server it will uninstall and overwrite my existing installation.
Can you please provide some guidance on this?

Each cluster needs a separate ClusterControl host. However, you can view all clusters from one UI.
So, when you create the new cluster from your on-premise UI, please specify a separate ClusterControl host.
Run the deployment script from the new ClusterControl host.
Once the new cluster is deployed, you can then register it with your original UI.
