Cluster Control restart node when a manual stop is done
Hi,
Do you have any plan or current existing setting to avoid a Galera node being restarted by Cluster Control when this node was manually stopped for any reasons by the admin ?
This to avoid some problems like the one in comments 12 through 19 of https://bugs.launchpad.net/galera/+bug/985747
Thks,
Regards.

Hello Laurent,
ClusterControl must be shutdown when doing manual maintenance.
This instruction is printed now in the web interface. The reason is that ClusterControl cannot know if you shut down the Galera node or it crashed.
If you shut down the node via ClusterControl GUI, then ClusterControl will not restart it.
Hope this helps!

Hi Vinay,
Thanks for your reply.
But, don't we need to have a license key to stop/start a node through Cluster Control GUI ?
---------------------Hello there!
You have reached a module of Severalnines' Cluster Control that requires a licence key.
To find out how to unlock this module, please contact the Severalnines Team at sales@severalnines.com.
Thank you and we look forward to hearing from you.

Hi again,
As from ClusterControl v1.1.32, it is now possible to disable Galera autorecovery in ClusterControl.
Please use the configuration parameter in cmon.cnf: enable_autorecovery=1 (default 1 == enabled, 0 means disabled - only manual recovery).
More information on v1.1.32 and upgrade instructions can be found here:

Best regards,
Vinay
