Create a new Software Package and Upload
Go into the CMON web interface: http://127.0.0.1/cmon/software.php?cid=1
Create a new Package, I called it "5.5.23 - wsrep 23.5".
Upload the new Version to the package so it looks like (this is a Debian/Ubuntu view). You MUST upload the Galera provider!
Make sure you have selected the new Package for Deployment and press Save Changes.
Install the new Software Package
RPM Install : A rolling restart is performed during the 'Install' of the new package. This is because the rpm upgrade implicitly performs a stop/start of the MySQL service. This is beyond the control of Severalnines.
Now move into Upgrade:
http://127.0.0.1:8080/cmon/upgrade.php?cid=1
Verify that the Package to install is indeed the package you created!
Press Install and follow the Progress in Job Messages.
When the Install has finished you should perform a Rolling Restart
Perform a Rolling Restart
RPM Install : A rolling restart is performed during the 'Install' of the new package. This is because the rpm upgrade implicitly performs a stop/start of the MySQL service. This is beyond the control of Severalnines. Thus, If you RPMs you can skip this step.
Go to: http://127.0.0.1:8080/cmon/upgrade.php?cid=1
And press 'Rolling Restart'.
There will be a checkbox "Perform an initial rolling restart", that can be ignored. It is not applicable in Galera, and not used (will be removed from web gui).
During the Rolling Restart one Server at a time will be upgraded. In the picture below you see that ubuntu02 has been updated (see the Version),
Don't hesitate to contact us on support.severalnines.com if you have questions how to do this.

Hi,
Do you have any errors in /var/log/httpd/error_log ?
If you want, you can email it to me on johan@severalnines.com or paste the last lines here after trying to do the upload to see if there are any apache issue.
Thanks ,
Johan
