    Hi Maria,

    If I recall correctly, intermediate node is used as a reference in an old version of ClusterControl. I cannot recall what version but we are already on 2.3.2 version of ClusterControl. Check our ChangeLog page.

    If you need to make sure you want to put this back into a slave node, make sure that it is set to read-only and that it is also replicating to the master and the master is not replicating to that node as well (chained replication).

    Yes, the node is in read only and is pointing to the correct master.

     

    How do I set it back only as a slave node?

    Hi Maria,

    Basically, intermediate node is a reference that is congruent to a slave node. It is basically a slave or replica node but it can be part of a chained replication. Can you share to us the topology of your cluster by posting a screenshot here?
